Default GTC back pay

A friend of mine wants to return to teaching after time out rearing her kids. When she last taught the GTC was just a t

le in the government's eye and not complulsory to join. She's told me she faces having to pay for the last few years membership fees as well as the years fee in which she wants to start teaching if she teaches again.

Is this true? Could it be due to her supply agency not giving her her P45 when she stopped to have her baby?

What do people think?

Don't know about this, Nutty prbably will though, sounds a bit unfair, which makes me think its probably true nowadays!

Sounds outrageous. Surely if she hasn't been teaching she shouldn't have to pay membership

y, and she may be owed tax, you have to kick-start their computers at the tax office, or they don't register stuff like that.
