Boredom and time-out
I didn't get any time-out as a full time teacher, or didn't feel I did anyway, even in the holidays. Paperwork!
The boredom bit... well, I have long-term concentration span problems I think. Teaching KS2 was perfect for me, dozens of different subjects/topics/children/year groups, but after a few years, I wanted to do something else as well! So I got myself another job, which is just as flexible, and pays the same, sort of freelance. Now I've got three of them! Life's never dull!
I like routine in my home life, but not at work.
