It depends on so many factors Bonnie... where you live, how far you're willing to travel, how experienced you are (or inexperienced if schools are after saving money), what you'll 'put up with' in terms of student behaviour... and what subjects you can cover if you're secondary...

, 'phone' is red, hate phoning!

Greens turn to blue very quickly, reds turn turquoise as soon as I've found the number, but rarely turn blue!

I love making lists. I also have this habit of ignoring them and/or losing them

I don't ignore them as such, I just sometimes overestimate my memory to do its job and remember!!

Speaking of lost lists...found one I did about 2 years ago the other day. Note to self: Do a top-to-bottom-not-missing-ANYTHING clear out more often.

Love this thread! I don't use online calendars - for some reason I much prefer writing things down to cross out and I love the look of a really full, busy paper diary. I also retrospectively write down what I've done each day cuz I find that even at the age of 24 I can't remember what I did last week!

I've been sitting here reading these posts, waiting for my phone call from one of the three agencies I rang this morning to remind them of my existence, and has a sudden realisation when my flatmate popped her head in that most schools have INSET/in-service/whatever-your-local-council-calls-them days today which makes it even less likely that I'll get a call on the day I got up especially early, had a

and breakfast and actually wanted some work!

Problem is I'm too well versed in sod's law to sit down and do anything else cuz I absolutely know that's exactly when the phone will ring.. Even if I just write it off in my head!
