I imagine if you have already done some supply work, then you will have paid some national insurance, it'll be contribution based. Mine was last summer. I can't quite get away with signing on this summer as am going on hol for 2 weeks! Would look very dodgy!!!! Good luck with it!

ted supply work. I got in touch with the jobcentre who told me that they are stopping our payments until they see some payslips, (handy on easter weekend) but they said we don't have to sign off. Hopefully when holidays come around that should make budgeting easier.

Reading this, if and when I get supply work I will be having 'interesting' conversations with the Job Centre. I get less then the £57-ish weekly rate and get around £32 each week (income based), so one days supply would be more than 2 weeks, let alone 1 weeks JSA.
