Hehe! I went in yesterday with my keys, coat and phone! It's a lot easier when you know where you are, which class you're in, and possible lessons. Going tomorrow with just some music and lunch...

Have never taken round loads of lesson plans or sheets or anything, always done stuff from my head... very liberating!!!

for the apst 3 weeks, i have managed to just go in with my keys, wallet and phone. been luckily enough to have very detailed plans left for me. i was in yr 5 for the 1st time on monday and the teacher left me step by step with what to do for mental oral and introduction for the maths lesson.

Glad it went well... teaching the other KS can be quite daunting and a real challenge - at least it was for me - went home in shock after an afternoon in YR!!!

EEEKKKKK!! I must be getting all concientious in my old age! (As it's not something I've ever been before in my life!)

I use pretty much all the stuff in my largish bag on a daily basis.

Pencil case, small plastic tub of board pens and duster, small plastic tub of jelly beans and smarties (one schools who has 'healthy schools award' suggested I could use sunflower seeds instead!!!), small

stickers, A4 pad green lined paper (So the regular teacher actually sees my notes even if they don't always read them!), box of address labels (for children to wear as name tags), A4 clipboard (so I can take a sheet of paper to PE lssons for a boys vs girls comptition with points for who is the quietest/quickest changers etc)

and the boot of my car has a small box with things like sellotape/glue/hole punch, etc for when I am in a particulary deprived school and know I will do some arty work, and A4 file with lesson notes in.

I think I'd be lost with just a phone and lunch!
