Ooooh! I'm trying to get tickets to see a brass band at our local town hall! I missed out on a Glenn Miller one last week, we couldn't make it, but there's a local one coming... hope they do swing stuff... it does say 'the big band sound'

I've got a viola collecting dust... joined a fiddlers group last year, but was the only viola and had to transpose all the music I got given.. way too much work! Fiddlers play too fast for me to improvise too... even if I know the piece!

I want to learn the guitar. I can play the descant and tenor recorder. Also chopsticks on the piano!

LOL! I keep quiet about the choir I'm in, where I'm the youngest member... by at least 25 years! We sing classical stuff mainly, and WWI & II songs too... they all tell me the origins of the wartime songs, and how they used to dance to them with their sweethearts...

Ah, you see, you're young, I've only just realised I own a memory stick! Now I just need to work out how to get things on and off it!
