There is a very long thread about this on the opinion section of the TES. Lots of hotheaded responses, but not much sympathy for the kids. (Not that I have any either!)

Seems to me it is a school in crisis and supply teachers having a rough time there is just one of many many problems.

That's what I thought too... bet the supply teachers could hold a protest about working conditions within the school!
