Primary Head Bans Christmas
Did anyone see this? I can't find the report online... saw it in the dentists' waiting room today...
A headteacher has banned even mentioning the word 'Christmas' until December 7th!
What do you think?
The school I was in yesterday had their panto... yesterday! I do think Christmas comes too early, but it's everywhere, and banning it from school until the 7th, won't make it go away! As soon as the kids leave school they will see it in the lights on houses/trees etc.
I didn't get chance to read the full thing (arghh! dentist chair waiting!), and would love to know what the reasoning was... anyone?
