I'll be up bright and early to try and buy it (I don't live in a completely backward part of the country, but I'd have trouble finding the FT for the bulk of Free Range Chicken Farmer's Weekly, Classic Blue 'Buy British' Liveried Red Deisel Landrover Monthly and (Save our car parks, village stores and front gardens from the) Rambler's magazines on the shelf) and check also if it's online, and put a link in here... I'm sure it will be

If I'm in it, I hope they didn't twist what I'd written and upset half the 'proper' teachers in the UK like a 'proper' journalist would do!!!

(I had fun thinking up those magazine titles, can you tell?!)

And if it's all in, I hope you all think it's a true reflection of supply teaching today... I responded only to the Qs I was asked, so couldn't put in the details of real life as a supply teacher as you'd find in our work-in-progress Code of Conduct!

It's a shame... would have loved to have written something like that .. (there's an article for you Sarah!) but alas, it's all about making a career out of supply teaching...

Oooh the real life of supply teachers!! Nobody would believe it, especially not people in the WORST places we've been to. I was really lucky when I was teaching and only ever went to one duff school, the rest if mine were all LOVELY.

P'rhaps when I've got a spare few weeks I'll gather some true life stories from you guys and do an e'book - I don't think anyone would have the balls to publish and actual book book... WATCH THIS SPACE...

Congratulations Nutty Supplier from Cumbia! Poor you for crying after your first day! Not a bad article, wondered if there might be a bit more about the forum but you might get a few more hits now as a result.
