Default Anyone fancy a position of authority?

I've got a few jobs going! Obviously voluntary ones, but it's job satisfaction that's important, not remuneration!

I love the site being so close knit and friendly, we each know what the others are doing on an almost daily basis, and it's lovely.

However, I am aware that there are areas that have come to a stand still, while, for instance, the staffroom storms off ahead! I'm hoping to attract many more people to the site, and so want to start adding news/legal articles etc. again like I used to.

There are many, many NQTs/students/new-to-supply peeps floating about at the moment, looking for help, and I really think this forum is invaluable to them, if only they could find it.

I need to keep adding relevant content, so it creeps higher up the Google rankings, and there are tens of visitors daily, who read but don't post, so I want to keep them coming, with fresh content.

So, new term, fresh start, and I'm going to concentrate on helpful content. Therefore, I'd like some help in other areas as below:

1. Jigsaw Picture Provider - I used to be good at changing it say once a fortnight, but am feeling the pressure of EYM at the moment, and have been slacking somewhat. I'd like someone to help with this... I really need a PA! All I'd like them to do is every so often find and send me a picture. I run out of inspiration very easily, never know what terms to search on Google. They can be most any format and size, I'll convert them when you send them. If you'd like more responsibility (cheesy aren't I?!) then you can convert them to a jigsaw for me, and just send me the code.

2. Forum Moderator - This job could go to more than one person. I've not yet looked into what controls can be given out, but I'm pretty sure you'd at least be able to delete unsavory posts. Helpful if I'm on and the site gets spammed! As many people as fancy it can be a moderator, I can set one for the whole board, or five for each category! If you choose which areas you'd like to moderate, then perhaps you could also help keep that category alive and kicking with me?

3. TES spammer! - Some of you may have noticed (that's how you found us afterall!) that I try to post, and enjoy doing so, on TES as often as I can. Daily at least. I always put this forum's address in my signature, unless, a nicer, more acceptable way to do it, is to respond to a question on TES with a link to the answer on here! If there is one obviously! I currently post in supply and unemployed regularly, and whenever I think about it (which I should more often) I post in NQTs, Student, and sometimes Prospective Student Teachers. I've also posted in Scottish Teachers, but at the time, the forum was only receiving a post a week, so maybe not an essential target. Anyway, I'd appreciate someone to do the nice bit, respond to posts by pointing them to answers in this forum... we like new people with new chocolate recipes!

4. Meeter and Greeter - I have also fallen behind with the PMs to new registered members. I have a piece of text which I

y and paste into a PM to each new member, just to welcome them to the forum. I do personalise it, usually just with their name etc., but if they've posted before I get to them, then I can write a little more. You'll all hopefully have received one of these in the past! I'd appreciate someone's help in keeping on top of this. As it is, I have to delete members daily, as they are spammers. This really eats into my leisure time on the forum! I've not done any since a week before my hols, so have around 50 or so waiting to be deleted at the moment. Then I have to find out who was the last I greeted, and send the rest the PM (they can't be done en masse.) Many aren't read, only a few reply, but it's still nice to do. I can provide text to be

ied and pasted, and I can still do some, it's just knowing that someone else is keeping an eye on it too.

Think that's about it (it's bedtime you see!), but I'm sure I could think of something else!

If willing and interested in doing anything, please feel free to PM me... thanks for reading this far too!

God, I couldn't possibly, it would ruin my image. I prefer to think of myself as one of the rebels, teetering on the edge of being told off by a mod.
