Two questions:

1. How do I s

off the emoticons in the text? They appear mid-text when I post a reply.

2. How do I rank posts from the first one who created the thread to the last one? I am getting the last one first.

Think you do both through the User CP (top left in blue band) - then go to "Edit Options" and sc

I followed these instructions and cleared the tick-box for 'show avatars', but they are still appearing and obscuring my text.

down past 'Submit reply' and under the miscellaneous Options, tick the 'Disable Smilies' box.

The disable smilies option is just for the current post. But you can go back & edit posts to get rid of them if you forget to tick it before posting.

This seems to be a software glitch. Maybe there's a setting for advanced admins/moderators to tick or untick, or maybe not. But it can be a bit frustrating!
