Angry key portfolio

Does anyone feel concerned that as an agency worker we are now supporting two middle men organisations: the agency, and now this tax organisation, off our backs. The agency is benefitting as they no longer pay Employers NI plus other tax breaks, and Key benefit as they are being paid for pay

services. The teacher is being promised £1 + being better off. Given that my pay would be even better if I was being paid directly from the LEA, I am hardly impressed by this £1+ offer. How do others feel?

I feel exactly as you do! I work for 2 agencies one uses 'key portfolio' and I earn £30 or so less a day from them because of all their hidden charges. Sadly the school I really like, and get most work from, only uses this agency and wont pay me direct. Will be interested to hear from others on this subject do feel its a rip off disguised as a 'service'.

Agreed. I had a spell of not working for the agency and therefore key portfolio, so the latter sent a voucher (equal to the cost of processing one payslip) for returning to them. I had to post the voucher back to key portfolio, they would not accept a scan by email, and have never received the discount. I have also had problems with their online acount. It does not work and despite phone calls, it still does not work.

PS Anyone know how to turn off these emoticons?
