Default Not sure what to do....

Just got phoned by a bloke who used to work for one of my agencies which got taken over by another company. He wants me to join up with his new agency and has given me the usual incentives like higher rate per day (unsure about this) and "loads" of work (allegedly). He also was pressuring me to send in my CRB form to him tomorrow. I said I'd think about it. Any advice?

Difficult one - you could take it as a compliment that he wants you to join his agency, but then, like you said, how much will/can he actually pay you and how much work has he got...

Best suggestion would be to go and see him and find out more - ie, which schools are going to use his agency (ones you like to work in?) and if they will have him as first choice or last resort.

But then if it is free to join, and you know him (and like him - in work sense

) then I woud just send him my CRB purely for the opportunity of more work!

Hope that helps! Let use know what you decide.

Don't get pressured into joining the agency just because he already knows you, they just want to get a certain number of teachers on their books. Find out more about what benefits you get if you join.
