Unhappy CRB expired rant!!

Hi
Just letting off steam!!I rang ****** agency in August to remind THEM that my CRB expires (according to the actual document) on Nov 1st 2009. They said it was 'in their system to send me new form etc' so I let it go BIG MISTAKE.Ironically this was my first CRB from my last employment and I had managed a very long career before the **** things were invented! Anyway the person at the end of the phone says 'You wont be able to work without one' Oh yeah and they are going to compensate me for loss of earnings and letting down the school I have worked in a lot all last year are they???? not letting this rest but

Thank goodness for this site. Well, they have apologised, quite right it was total incompetance, and even offered to come to the house to fill the new form in etc Thought it better to actually go into the office and make sure they process the whole thing ASAP

Did think they might try and blame it all on postal disruption, ofcourse that may cause massive delays to new one. In the meantime the agency are getting in touch with the school I work in regularly to explain- Ive already given the School my side in case the agency is economical with the truth. Thing that got me (here we go again!!) was that I was instantly locked out of the online system following my first call this morning so couldnt email my objections and complaints. Agency said there is a 3 month rule that

I've had 2 CRB checks this year. My current one is due to run out in December but one agency wanted to do it early and the school I now work for thought it easier to do it now than later. The one completed in July came through in September and the one done in the middle of October came through today! So

CRB's annoy me soooo much!!

I am currently in the process of getting a 6th.....yes 6th! CRB...all of these will have been done in the last 18months but no-one will accept a previous one to use...sooo frustrating and costing me quite a bit as well
