Default How many Agecies are TOO many?

I was just curious how many agencies would be considered too many to be registered with at one time? I'm worried about summer creeping closer and closer and I want to make sure I have every opportunity available.

First time I was on supply I registered with 4. I got minimal work from 2 of them and quite a lot from the other 2. The second time I was on supply I only registered with those 2, they were both excellent BUT I found as I got to know them better that they tended to get "stroppy" if I was regularly booked for the other one and unavailable for work. I still found this the best way to do it as I rarely didn't have work.

I would say if you are thin

Yes and I'd agree with Danfur there - it's more about how good the agencies are than how many you are registered with. And you'll tend to get more regular work if you build up a relationship with a

back, actually, to when I was registered on supply last time, I was registered with about 4 agencies, but really only got work from one with any regularity, and I had a good relationship with the consultant there. He got me a long term too.

Danfur - long time no hear! You OK?

Yes I'm fine Jenny, sorry I didn't reply to you the other day. Had my bro and his girlfriend staying here for 5 weeks while their house has been getting done up and trying desperately to get wedding stuff sorted seeing as it is getting nearer and nearer.

I am registered with one agency and currently registering with another. It seems that both want you to be exclusive so they don't know about the other, I reckon 2 or 3 would be enough as its a case of trac

which agency is giving what work and you wouldn't want to get a call from on agency for work and record it on the wrong agencies time sheet. Hope this helps.
