into the mincemeat in order to make meat pies later.....been to the shop to buy some pastry to make said mince pies and some eggs to glaze them......posted a letter or two......read and posted on several message boards.......done some ironing.....

now am off to wash my car.....fill up the screen wash......clear out my supply bag of all the rubbish...... might even wash OH's car if I'm not too cold.

Then a nice warming time making mince pies......settle down to taste test a few with a mug of hot chocolate......and lastly off to an exercise class to burn off all the mince pies.

How do I normally get time to work????

I am amazed! I could never get that done in a day, mind you you don't have a Gnome who now attacks the phone at any given opportunity if I leave him for 5 minutes, so if he's awake I am playing Gnome-style, enjoy that while I can I suppose. I did make advent chocolates and hunge them up on a garland today ready for tomorrow and 2 doily

Doilies = snowflakes! Or save them for a Victorian's topic, and have the kids mount their black card miniature silhouette onto them, and use them as a border/background etc. for all displays.

sorry mince pies were almost all sold this morning at a coffee and cake 'do'. There is xmas cake, but as I've said that OH can't start on it til the fancy decoration, as opposed to just the flat icing, is done I'd best not let you lot at it just yet either.

Though if I come clean......The marzipan and icing were ready m ade and ready

ed, all I did was drape them on the cake. The mince pies were just jars of mincemeat mixed with some whisky and bought, though not ready

ed pastry. Also it was too cold once I started washing the car so I just did the windows and lights!

And I fell asleep in the afternoon and only woke up when OH came in so rushed about getting ready for exercise class and left him all my washing up! oooops!
