Hi, gosh sounds like you have an action packed time coming!!
Don't worry if I was working, I would still be working (if you see what I mean!?) The LEA here doesn't finish till thurs!

But i'm off to France tomorrow to my parents, fully packed with sun block, hat and lots of anti-histamines!

(taking a anti-histamine did help with my heat rash - until I went swimming!) - sorry jumping threads there!

Cor, I seem to have left school weeks ago (just Friday!) and you're still there!

Hols will come soon enough for you! We also want to go and see Superman. Thought about taking OH tonight, but he's just buggering off canoeing without me!

I'm working.. got a very busy few weeks ahead, no rest for the wicked!
It's been really stressful today though (though nothing, absolutely nothing, compared to a class full of kids!) as we want to go to all the local fairs with the kit car, and have been finding out that all their

I had a really unsightly rash on my legs last week. I know it's not heat rash as I'd covered up my legs and taken antihistamines which hadn't worked. So I looked on the internet and discovered it was sweat rash (a grim fungus that lives in your skin and reacts to sweat with red lumps on your legs etc) so I have being applying hydrocortezone cream for the last few days and it's practically gone now! It means I can't cover my legs up now as they sweat but hey, at least I don't have legs like Frankenstein now!

Thanks Nutty! I'm really looking forward to spending time with my man, sis and friends. I'm hoping to start a sign language level 1 course in Sept so will brush up on my alphabet, numbers and introductions etc. I find out whether I got on the course by the end of this month so cross fingers!

I did a sign language course a few years ago, can only remember a few things, except it was great fun! I loved it! I used it a lot in the first year after, so funny how I just seemed to come across people signing in bars and stuff and get talking to them!

I feel like I've finished now, my school finishes today but I finished teaching last week, although I wasn't in (kiddies ill) so I popped in ysterday with the Gnome to say cheerio, the kids were all over the Gnome, and he took it like a man! One little s*** said "Can I flick him?"and I said "NO, unless you let me flick you back on his behalf!"What a little b***er! Actually the kids weren't that bothered to see me go, and only a

ness!!

Clarabelle, that sounds horrid!! Good luck with it an excuse to go and buy skimpier clothes? Sign language sounds really interesting, I have thought about doing Makaton, used to know some and was handy went wokring with chidren with behavioural issues and needed to 'sign' something about them to another member of staff - don't think that's really ethically or it's real purpose but it worked!

Gnonoo: 'can I flick him' you have strange pupils!!!!! But I think you got him back!!!

Well my head is spinning, off to calm down and pack!

I dont want to teach today, Im too tired", until I woke up and realised that I didnt do it anymore! So if anyone else is considering it I would say "go for it"

Hey that's great Footie! Sounds like a real life episode of The Bill, all in two shifts!

Did you finish all the training now? Essays? Uni?

BTW, it sounds rough where you work! Cops up here tend to spend all day giving directions to tourists it seems!
