A new school on the books

A school down the road from me (literally 5 mins!) rang last night to ask if I could cover some staff sickness this week (I don't know about you but there is a lot of sickness going around lately).
I am in for them all day Thursday and Fri am as they are the only free slots (apart from today) left in my week!
I am hoping as this school is so local, that if it goes well, it may be much more of an opportunity for regular work!
Am quite excited!!!!!

Now must get on as this is my only day free for a while! Housework (groan) here I come !

Good luck with it RB (and the [smilie=rk01_pezzalavarexterra.gif] )! I've deliberately not gone to the school nearest me... wouldn't like to see the kids/parents in the supermarket at night!

I have a school about 200 metres from my house and I have refused to work there. I like to be anonymous in our local mini-Tescos. I have had it in Asda looking at the cream cakes when a kid suddenly screamed "Miss ******!" So embarassing as I was holding a cream doughnut and had to chat to her mum for 5 mins!
