I've worked full time this half term and the last two nights have been really tired. Obviously ready for a week off!

A week of shopping if you've been working full-time!

I can't wait to get to the bank to pay in cheques, make an appointment with the hairdressers without having to cancel, get to the post office, do a 'big shop' when it's not already dark outside... and oh yes, I'm still wearing a fleece I bought 6 years ago, and I'm making it a priority to buy one this half term... no matter what my weight!

Start tomorrow in the Year 2 that I'm taking till the week after half-term. Looking forward to it in some ways and feel organised, at least for the rest of this week and next. But I'm a bit nervous - it's in a tough inner city school and there are a

of volatile kids in the class.

Been invited to a teachers' night out tomorrow with the lot that I've been working with for the past few weeks. Don't usually go out on a school night - I leave that to the weekend

Can't wait for half-term though. Not got much planned yet, but being able to lie in will be bliss!
