Default I cracked the class!

I teach a very rowdy and noisy Y5/6 class every Monday for the teacher's PPA time. Being a non musician, she likes to give me music and such like to do with them which makes the pm even more rowdy. I was starting to think that the class were getting worse instead of better and was actually starting to dread these monday pms with them. However, yesterday I had a much better time with them and one of them even said to me "so you are really a teacher at this school then". I think they had thought I was only going to be around for a bit but it has finally sunk in that I am going to be with them most Mondays from now on!
Yeah!
I'm so glad cos I think they are the kind of class that give a lot back to you if you give a lot to them.
We'll see.......

Exactly the sort of thing I'm going through!

My timetable consists of:

Tues pm: PE, Music
Wed pm: PE, Art, Music
Thurs am: PE, PHSE

I don't even like PE. No wonder I'm having so many injuries, I take about 50% of the PE lessons in the school!

Great to hear that you're now recognised as a teacher... the only way is up from here!
