Default Hooray I've got a terms contract!!

Well almost. Verbal at the moment.

Did days supply on Tuesday as test of whether I liked the school and they like me - I did and they did so we're away!

Slight uncertainty yet as to what year group. Might be Y3/4, might be 1/2, which would be really scary as I don't really do small people. From my point of view it would be really good experience, although hard work (how many pages can a Yr 1 write during a literacy lesson?

), but I'm slightly concerned I'll fail them completely and they'll learn nothing for a term. I wouldn't take on infants permanently, but for a term I'm sure we'll be fine.

That'll be another terms induction sorted - only one more to go - hooray

Year 1's are the BEST! As long as you do lots of practical stuff and explain the activities about a trillion times before they sit down, you'll be fine! I'd expect them to write a few sentences (depending on ability) and do a picture too! Set your expectations high for them and they'll learn!

Congratulations nutcracker! They'll learn, as clarabelle suggested, with you no being a little people person (me neither!) you'll have high expectations, and they'll rise to it...
