Default Have a good weekend

Told my agencies that I wasn't free today or yesterday because I've had loads of things to do. Think I would have preffered to work - feel like I haven't stopped and haven't done half the stuff I wanted to.

Oh well enough of the moaning - feeling alot better about supply and teaching generally. Looking forward to my 3 days SEN supply next week and I've just been to visit the school that has the y1/2 job share maternity cover vacancy. Will definately be applying!

OMG what an amazing school, it was HUGE, really well resourced, team planning, PPA by specialist teachers brought in from outside that will also offer CPD. Lovely staff, polite well behaved children -HEAVEN!!!!!!
Its from March till the end of summer term but there is a possibility that the post or a full time vacancy will arise in September

Keep everything crossed X
Hope you all have a great weekend

Off to library to get out some horror novels to read, collecting a parcel I missed today (exciting! Wonder what it could be!), having friends round for dinner in the evening. Any good desserts I could make?

You're the Queen of Desserts though... you should think of one!

I like 'different' trifles... kiwi and pear with lime jelly, or chocorange - put choc swiss

in the bottom, mandarin segment and orange jelly... though not altogether sophisticated! How about a syllabub?

Or: chocolate fondue, get loads of fresh fruit and marshmallows

Or: easy peezy, get a few lovely fruits, raspberries, blueberries, redcurrants and strawberries perhaps, with a kiwi sliced/quartered for

Footie... I was being good... all those desserts contained fruit! They don't usually!

The icing sugar has to be quite thick to make a pretty sticking pattern on the fruit, otherwise it just runs off before it sets, and fills the bottom of the bowl. It's such an easy one to impress with, you just need nice bowls/glasses to serve it in, dust with icing sugar and a sprig of mint or something!

Chocolate fondue - single serving quick fix sugar hit...

Melt four (it's not a lot!) pieces of chocolate in your bowl in the micro

, stir, chop up a whole banana, apple, pear, kiwi and a handful of grapes into the bowl. Start eating from the bottom, so undipped fruit falls down further and gets dipped.

There you go, filling, chocolatey, 5 portions of fruit/veg - how good does it get?!
