Hi there
I've only just found this forum, its great - however the smilies in posts are driving me nuts!!
Is there any way of getting rid of them - or will I have to just get used to them???
cheers

Hi,

When you're posting, there's a 'Disable smilies in text' option... if it's a Quick Reply, click on the Advanced Posting to access the option...

Would you like me to check your covering letter, CV, supporting statement or application form?

Thanks - I have found the button that stops my posts having them......

but is there no way to get rid of the ones other people have put when I read them? ( i don't mean stopping people using them,as obviously some like them - just someway of them not appearing on my screen!)

I am finding it really difficult to the point of not bothering reading something if it has them in!
