Default Hello!!!

Hi folks, I've been locked out of my own forum for a while! I completely forgot my password and b*llsed up trying to remember it too many times and got locked out!

So, I'm not even going to try and catch up with the million posts I haven't replied to, I've read many, as I was still able to do that without logging on...

Life's busy with my little boy, looking forward to a visit from skiteacher over the Easter hols, haven't finished rebuilding our house yet, was tutoring once a week, but the parents decided I'd shown them how much of a difference a 'quality teacher' can make in such a short space of time and decided to send the child to a private school to expose him to more quality teachers, so they didn't 'need' me anymore!! Ugh! Victim of my own success there I think!! Never mind...

How's everyone? And a big lovely hello to people who've joined since I got locked out!

Hi Phoe!

That's probably a good work / life balance I suspect then? Sounds good! Hope both school and agency appreciate you?!

Hi Nutty,

Great to have you back - it's been way too quiet on here!

I'm busy (2 days fixed and generally 2 more days supply at 2 regular schools) - really enjoying it and so glad to see the back of the agencies.

Just getting to the end of our rebuild - in fact, last builder should finish tomorrow (original completion date was 17th December 2010!!) so hopefully I'll have a kitchen again soon ( hubby is fitting slowly as he works full time too) for the first time since September!!

Jane, that sounds perfect, that was the amount of work I liked best... and on the fifth day I did the housework etc. so that the weekend was spent with my partner relaxing!

Wow, your first meal cooked in the new kitchen should be exciting!! I remember when I got my gas hob back in use after a few months, it was just before I was due to give birth, so I did a huge shop, and broke in the new hob in a massive 30+ meal prep day... all for the freezer for when the little man arrived - loved it!

My building ticker would be similar to yours... 7 years and 3 months though, rather than 7 months and 3 weeks!! Only 18 months to go though...
