Hi,

I'm not really in favour of agencies as they take such a big wad off of your wage (!) however, it may help you get started as a supply as they will get your CRB check done and introduce you to some schools. They may also run some courses to refresh you if necessary.

If possible though, it would be great to work with schools direct - do you have any contacts? Your old school?
Does your LEA have a supply bank (they could sort out your CRB for you)?

My income dropped to one-tenth of my pre-disability income and stayed there for four years. My income is back to 3/4th what it used to be and I no longer collect disability because I now earn too much (Thank God!).
