Default Completely fed-up (Nothing to do with school for a change!)

I've had this business

bouncing around my head for two years.
With supply work at an all time low, I decided I'd give it a go. I need a website though. I can create them myself, but nothing

, and I need it to look 100% professional. So on Friday, I had a meeting with some techies. Really nice guys.

They wouldn't give me a ball-park figure for the desgin/hosting of the site right then, as they needed to speak to the programmers first. So they'd call me Monday. They wouldn't even give me a clue, except to say it wasn't in the hundreds. I knew it wouldn't be, but how much over? Thousands?

They didn't want to spoil my weekend by telling me!

Fair enough.

But I spent all weekend working on the

(they need specifics from me now, to finalise the quote), and basically, waiting for Monday's call to come.

The guys aren't in the office today, I just called after being able to wait no longer. They had a morning meeting in some big city somewhere, and then another this afternoon in another city.

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! [smilie=hate-wall.gif] [smilie=banghead.gif] [smilie=rk01_abbiamolatestadura.gif] [smilie=rk01_sbattolatestaovunque.gif]

The receptionist is very sorry but she'll get them to call me tomorrow as soon as I finish school.

I'm desparate to start working on stuff, and there were sooo many things I could've done today to get it started, but if the website's too expensive, I may not even be able to do it at all! I've invested about 30 hours in it since the meeting on Friday, and it could all be in vain... I know, it's not a lot of time in the great scheme of things, but I need to know! I could just get cracking and do the stuff, but if it's too expensive, then I'll be even more upset.

Couldn't sleep last night, so excited that it was Monday already... no way am I going to be able to sleep tonight / teach in the morning / keep anything down!

They've really let me down though... not very professional is it?!

Thanks for the vent. Again!
