Default not going in that class again!

I went into a new class this afternoon. First whinge, 'Can we have fun afternoon today because we aren't here tomorrow?' 'No'. Next whinge, 'Can we not get changed for PE because it's cold' 'No' 'Miss I haven't got my PE kit' 'Why not?' 'It's in the wash after tag rugby last night, can I sit out?' (most of boys tried this one) 'No your shoes are suitable just take your tie off'.
When the children were asked to stack their chairs at the end of the day they stacked them on the tables. They always do that I was told, no other class do I replied. 'OK miss we'll stack them on the floor for a change tonight!' Apparently they are always like that. Me I've just had loads of

Thank you for the choccie Jane. It wasn't all bad though. After convincing myself I was incapable of teaching ever I met two groups of children from other classes I had been in and they all had a cheery smile and a 'hello miss'. It did make me feel a little better and tal

After all I said, I went back for more! The head said that lots of staff had problems with this class but he would come and read the riot act before the day
