smaids wore shoes very like those ivory ones - they're very pretty. My shoes were from BHS and had a similar sort of heel, but they were pink as I had pink flowers on my dress. I also bought some flat silky Mary Janes from BHS for the ceilidh at our evening doo and they were pretty invaluable after a day of heels (I am not a heels person, mind)! Personally I'd go for flats for

in - nothing like a sprained ankle to ruin your wedding day!!! You could get them dyed purple??

I'm a small shoe size so I can get away with wearing girls' shoes - you can get some lovely styles that still look grown up, but without much of a heel/pointy toes, more comfy for

Thanks. Did your dress drag on the floor when you were wearing flats in the evening? Your right though, flats are soooo much more comfortable!

A little I think but not so I tripped over it - and I wasn't aware of it! I had a train, and there was supposed to be a hook thing to attach it to, to hook it up, but the dressmaker forgot to do it!! In the end it didn't matter though

Let us know what you decide.
