My daughters are wearing: pj's and a mermaid type of costume (the teachers at their school are really entering into the spirit of things I believe). At least you won't be alone in doing so!

I wore my jim jams, as did my TA, the teacher next door wore jeans and the other teacher did a wierd hair-do and wore red. One TA came as Bob the builder, another wore Spock ears and a flashy lights bow tie (male) and the dinner lady came as Elvis!

It sounds as if you had loads of fun and at least others dressed up too. I visited some schools yesterday and most were dressed up and the atmosphere in each schools was brilliant.
