Default Interview help needed!

Hello...
I have an interview on friday, its for a TA specialising in Literacy but I haven't got a clue, I'm new to Primary and need to gen up on everything. Could someone just fill me in on the latest and point me in the direction of some useful websites? Is it still the National Literacy Strategy? I have been on the DCSF website but honestly, it is sooooo boring. Any nice jolly websites would be appreciated.
Thanks.
ps I'm going for a TA's job in order to get experience before I start a RTT course next year.

You probably need to look up jolly phonics, ALS/FLS and Big Writing (google Ros Wilson). Also read up on Guided Reading!

Would you like me to check your covering letter, CV, supporting statement or application form?

What age group is this for as you might need to read up on letters and sounds and ELS too. These are for FS and KS1

Additional and Further Literacy Support.., as far as I remember! My TAs take the 'booster' kids out for ALS in Y4, and FLS in Y5... Think that's what they stand for!

Yeah, big writing's pretty big at the minute... The VCOP stuff. Emm, they might ask you stuff like if a child had problems with reading what would you do? same for writing. Or stuff like how would you extend more able pupils?
