ing on the job centre website. Last time I had a job starting in Sep too so told them I was looking for temporary work but at usual teaching working hours and they nor I could find any. They make you go every fortnight to discuss your job search and you just say you have looked in the internet and paper but haven't found anything. The sooner you start the process the better though as I thought they backdated it to 3 days after the last day you worked but they only backdate to when you start the process. After signing up online, someone will ring you and go through everything you've already written again and then make an appointment at your local job centre to go through it all again. But at least it gets it sorted. Hope that helps
