Half Term Hopes
What do you all have planned??? Ruby got married today, and so we know how she's planning to spend the hols, but the weather, for once, is supposed to be glorious... changed your plans to suit?
We've got the oak truss which will form the structure for our new lounge's roof arriving on Monday, which is exciting beyond belief! So, this weekend sees us getting ready for its arrival - we need to clear a space for it to sit while we put it in place and as yet have no To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. So that'll be Tuesday's job!
The rest of the week will be spent putting the roof on, and hopefully by Easter it will be water tight!
So, please tell me you lot have more normal plans, like lunches with friends and sisters!

Well Sad cow that I am, my LSA and I are going toschool on Monday to clear out the hall cupboard and tidy up as it is such a mess and I want to move PTA stuff from my SEN 'room' (cupboard!) to the big cupboard!
Tuesday I am meeting with a friend/parent to talk about her child with special needs, but the kids will have a good play with her kids so its not really work! Wednesday we're going on a steam railway, lovely, boys will enjoy BUT it is a risk assessment visit for a school trip so I am STILL working! Thursday we're having Sky HD put in and a large piece of furniture for tidying up the lounge is coming, oh and the car is being serviced! Friday - nothing planned Yet! Then it's the weekend, at some point I shall have to do planning!
OMG looks like a nightmare!

Jonno not off 'til 18th, so next week is a normal working week for me. You know, falling out of bed at 11, sitting in my dressing gown looking at the clouds, drinking loads of coffee, etc. Wait, hang on, that's someone else. Me, I'll be up at 6.30 every day getting OH off to work, then getting Jonno to school, then at my desk by 9 writing and researching 'til 3.15, then getting back to it once Jonno has gone to bed.
Book proposal is being considered on Friday, so I'll let you know how it goes.
In actual half term (18th-22nd), we're going down to Wales to stay with my folks for a few days.
Have fun next week.

I went on a long hike yesterday, so have spent today asleep or in front of the TV/PC...The car is going in to the garage tomorrow to have the brakes done and an MOT, so it depends on how long that takes as to what else I do. Wednesday is free so far, so may go and see my parents. Thursday, Friday and Saturday are set aside for planning, and I'm walking again on Sunday, although not quite as strenuously as yesterday To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. No doubt the week will fly by as usual...
