Default New SENCO

Well it was announced yesterday, most people looked genuinely pleased, the bitchy Yr 6/music teacher (from last year, remember) was stony faced. After the meeting they were all congratulating me, and she did but then just as one little poke she said, well I didn't even want to go for it. As if she would have got it over me, I only got it because she didn't apply. What a cow! She is only in her 3rd year teaching I'm in my 10th! Just cause she is older than me she is so superior!!!
Anyway my OH says ignore her so I will, but can't resist venting off to you lot!

Excellent ski! She's probably jealous that you have the recognition, I presume she's been there longer than you have too? B*tch! She's just not nice all round is she?

She has been there longer than me to do her nqt year and prior to that she was an lSA there. She did nqt year in year 3 and then last year and this in year 6 which she assumes is a promotion. She is a jealous cow, we think because she had a baby at 19, then two more so had to put her career on hold, whereas I was a qualified teacher at 23 and have 10 years under my belt, she is just a cow bag! She already has a fulltime LSA, never heard of in Year 6, so she wouldn't care if I gave her no more, good
