Hi Guys

Got back from a fabulous 10 days in Lancaster on Saturday and have been catching up with stuff ever since (seeing parents ond OHs parents, etc etc). Oh yes, and WORKING!!! Hadn't really struck me that as a freelance journalist/writer I'd be working all the time! Good job I enjoy it really isn't it?

Hope you're all okay.

I've got removal firms in tomorrow and a

of times next week to quote for the final push to the North, but the fact that we got to the Lake District in about a hour last Friday makes the move even more worthwhile.

Take care all.

Lake District last Friday... where did you get to? Bowness, Windermere and Ambleside? That seems to be the place most day visitors head for. We've lived in all three, and have learnt to avoid all three from Friday 4pm to Sunday 9pm all year round! OH unfortunately has to work in Ambleside at the moment - his journey to work is fine, most B&Bers are still dreaming of their fry-up, only a few serious walkers have hit the roads... but his journey home takes twice as long! Arghhh!

Enjoy your work!

We went to the Visitor Centre between Windermere and Ambleside 'cos we didn't have much time and we know there would be stuff there to keep Jonathan amused. We're planning to spend lots of time up there once we make to final move.

I do indeed mean Brockhole, and yes, I saw the chapel.

Thanks for your offer of inspiration, I'll take you up on that in time. First of the removal firms coming tomorrow to give me a quote (eek!). I'll keep you posted.
