Default September Jobs

Just wondering what everybody is hoping/planning to do job wise in September?

I was hoping to be working full time, permanent but not quite sure what to apply for in terms of responsibility levels and which schools. I would really like to be full time again but have enjoyed a break from all the extra which goes with being full time and having a leadership role.

Also, whenever I look at any vacancies I never seem to see a school which I would like to work permanently in or wouldn't have to put up with sitting in a traffic jam for 2 hours a day.

As a result I have sent off for a few application packs but haven't had the enthusiasm or will to fill any of them in yet!

Also like Nutty, a bit wary of interviews and presentations as the the one before the one I just got nearly sent me to an early grave too! I still hope something horrible has happened to the headteacher at that school!

I know in my head there is still plenty of time but I'm starting to worry now. Thoughts anyone?

I am going to carry on doing daily supply. Filling in as a class teacher for a term has knackered me out! If work is available, I'm there!

I'm looking forward to September as it will be the first time I've ever done something for the second year. So hopefully it should be a little less stressful than this year has been as I'll know what to expect.

Hopefully I'll have relocated to Lancaster by then, so I'm concentrating on writing for a while 'til I get our son settled. Anyone read 5to7 Educator? I've been in there a bit in the last 2 issues!

I'm in a Year 4 class at the moment, hard ork, but great fun!

*Jealous of nutcracker* I dream of doing something for two years running! Even now, I have Y5 for literacy, and I've done that before, but we're working from the new framework... so it's still different!!

I'll be doing supply, but

I'll be offered the boosters and some PPA again from my two schools... or more maybe!

I've my last morning at one of them tomorrow as I terminated my contract with them so I could cover this class full-time as their teacher, I don't think, hasn't done a full week's work since September!

Still looking for an Nqt position for september. Been doing supply for a year and half now. Have had 2 long term positions hoping that they would lead to something permanent but no luck. Applied to loads of jobs recently, got a few rejections feeling really disheartened now.

here so i am getting worried.
I am a bit worried about working full time / with class responsibilites. But I'm also looking forward to doing what I want to do , the way I want to do it. And as the long term supply is just for this half term, it will hopefully be a good breaking in period, then I can collaspe over the summer.
At least in sussex there are lots of school and apart from a
