I'm sure it went well Mrs HJ, chuckling in the interview can't be a bad thing!

Hope you both get lucky!

Unhappy

Hello everyone!
I didn't get the job

Apparently the lesson went really well but I let myself down in the interview as I was so nervous. She said that my nerves got the better of me and although I gave lots of examples I sometimes lost my thread and they had to prompt me on a few questions.
I was gutted (obviously) but I've dusted myself down and I'm back on the hunt again.
How did it go Danfur?

Ah I'm sorry Mrs HJ

although you may be dissapointed at the outcome, something else will turn up for you. Put it down to experience. Interviews are not the best environment to thrive in, the amount of jobs that I've been for and not quite secured the job due to nerves, coming a close 2nd etc. etc.

Enjoy 1/2 term and treat yourself, you deserve it

I didn't get mine either although by the time I found that out I was thrilled as I didn't really take to the head or the school. Put it down to experience and enjoy your half term along with all you others - think of me AT WORK!!!!

Sorry you missed out on that one Mrs HJ, strange places interviews... I get really nervous too, and don't bother anymore, but I hate that reason for not giving you a job, nerves should not get in the way of a decision!!!! Anyway...

Nutty thats crap. I remember the first year of doing supply and spending every holiday in bed ill so you have my sympathy. It is super rubbish being at work every day while you are all off but on the plus side I can have time off whenever I want, not just in school hols.
