Deaf Club Tomorrow Night! Scary!

Hey guys!

OH is at a stag do tomorrow night so I thought I'd pop along to the local Deaf Club to brush up on my BSL. There are two others going from my BSL Level 2 group and they know each other really well and have been going for ages so will know people there already. I don't know the two ladies that well but I said I'd pop in (might just do one drink and then come home if it's bad). I find it fairly easy to talk to new people once I get over my initial shyness but to do it in another language (bearing in mind BSL users also have a different culture to me!) - it's going to be tough! What if no-ne talks to me and I'm sitting there all on my todd?????

Wow! How brave to make that first step and go anyway! I daren't walk into our local sometimes without OH, even if I'm meeting someone in there!

You've got to be on top form to do something like that... if only to make sure you go back again! If you're cream crackered, and you go, you'll not enjoy it, and not go back! You're doing the right thing... enjoy your movies! Horror are they?
