I used to be a cover supervisor a few years ago before I went to do my PGCE.
My best advice would be:
In terms of behaviour start harsh and then you can relax in a To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. of months,at first you'll be giving warnings, writing diary notes and running detentions to lots of students but once they get to kno that you mean whatyou say and will follow through on punishments they will settle down and your life becomes a lot easier.
Also get to know which staff are supportive and will help out if you need it.
