I got a temporary job in an FE college, which is why I've not been around. But I never told the local authority, because it took me 3 months to get registered with them, and I wanted to keep my options open. It's 4 months later now though and I've never heard from them once. Luckily I don't need the work at the moment but I wonder, is this a common experience or am I in the wrong place at the wrong time?
