Kids say what they see!
Felt quite flattered today when a teacher came up to me in the staff room and said "Oh, so you're the 'small' teacher the kids are going on about!". I wouldn't describe myself as 'small' but I was really flattered! Also, felt a bit guilty as I stuffed a doughnut into my mouth [smilie=saporito.gif] !
However, kids don't always say the right things. For example, I was at a table with a Year 2 boy who seemed to be staring at my mouth quite a lot when suddenly he said "Miss, why do you have a moustache?!". Again, I was sitting with a group of Year 6 boys who began to giggle and point and it suddenly occurred to me that they were taking the mickey out of my tiny ears! I've been told they are small ever since i was a little girl.
Anyone else have any stories like this?
