I have been supply teaching in Yorkshire for 5 years now through agencies- primary trained but just finished a year at a secondary school teaching English which I loved. I was always apprehensive about teaching y6 but now they look tiny!

I have usually managed to find long term bookings. Until my next one of these starts I am back on the daily work which I do enjoy but never seem to have enough to fill my week esp at the beginning of term.

This last week at home means it is all clean(ish) and tidier at least and my

Hi,
I'm also new to this site. It looks great- just what I need as I tentatively dip my toes in the murky waters of the supply teaching world. Many thanks for setting up the site, and to all those who have offered their pearls of wisdom. It certainly helps to know there are others of us out there.
