Default New to supply teaching!!

Hi all,

I'm new to supply teaching this term. I left my last job (full time post) after 3 years to give myself a break for a year or so!! 65 hour weeks were regular for me because I can't leave well enough alone!

I'm enjoying the life of supply so far and haven't had any bad experiences yet!!

I left at 3.20 today but there honestly wasn't any more I could do. I had a Year 1 class who had mainly practical lessons all day today. I tidied up everything and left a note for the teacher, there was no more to do. And they finished at 2.50!!! That is the earliest I have ever known a school to finish. They didn't start especially early either, 8.50.

I left a contract for similar reasons, but have still worked long hours for less pay.
