Default New and eeeeek!

Hi

I'm new to the forum and new to supply work. I graduated in 1995 and have never actually taught as a teacher (bills got in the way of waiting for a job) and 3 children later

I have been working as a TA in my local school, signed up to a RTT for the autumn and signed up for supply last week!! Have got my first job tomorrow afternoon and am now panicking that I don't have the skills to think on my feet in terms of filling in time if the work isn't planned!!!!!!!

Help me stop panicking please!!!!!!

If you've done the RTT course and been working as a TA in a school I'm sure you will have heaps of experience to draw on.

Take some work with you in case work isn't planned and have a few games and time fillers up your sleeve. Start off by making your expectations really clear - be firm and follow school's behaviour policy.

I'm sure it will go really well.

Stop worrying, deep breath and good luck!
