I've called myself Mister because sometimes I have to remind some pupils I'm a Mister when, out of habit from having female teachers, they call me Miss, or Miss...ter!

I get this a LOT. In fact, I worked in a school for two terms and by about the first half term, I gave up saying, "Don't call me miss!" I am not even young and pretty either.
