Default First day of supply tomorrow!

Hi,

I thought I'd say hello to you all, I'm very new to the world of Supply.

My name is Katrina, I have just moved to Penarth (just outside of Cardiff) from Moray, Scotland, to be with my boyfriend who had to move to Wales due to work commitments.

I completed my NQT year in Scotland, completed the registration for Wales and had no luck in finding a job over the summer, so I registered with New Directions Agency in Cardiff.

I have my first and currently only scheduled day of work tomorrow, I am very excited but also extremely nervous about it!

I have sent out a letter and my C.V/personnel statement to all the schools in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan with my details, and hope to visit alot of the local schools whenever the opportunity arises.

Knowing full well that work will be very slow at first, I have also taken on work in pub and a private nursery, as the bills still need to be paid!

Any hints, tips that you all have would be very much appreciated, and I look forward to having a successful year of supply work ahead of me.

Hello! I hope you have a good day tomorrow... bare in mind that the first day is always the worst one, and if you enjoy it (it's not always bad!) then great!!
