My plans for a new business.
Yesterday I had 3 meetings and my OH took the day off to come as they were all biggies.
The first, with the bank, went really well. They were very positive about my To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. The second was with our website designers. They had loads more information to offer us since the last time we met, so that went well, though one of the guys wasn't as clued up as I felt he should have been about what we wanted the website to do, before coming to the meeting. Especially as the main focus of the meeting was to let him tell us how he could help us. I felt like we spent over half the meeting helping him play catch-up. Not very professional when he'd known about the meeting a while, and we'd both got the day off to go, and we're still only potential clients!
I felt it was a bit of a waste of time, as the main guy wasn't prepared enough. OH had a day off for that, and we'd spent the WHOLE weekend getting our stuff ready for it! We did get some things out of it though, I shouldn't be so hard.
The third meeting, I'd asked for a meeting with a business advisor through Business Link, fab people, but the guy wasn't a qualified one, and all through the meeting kept saying 'that's something you'll have to ask a qualified member of staff, make an appointment before you leave to see one'... why didn't we see one to start with! Who To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. e us an appointment with him?!
Another waste of time. OH could have gone to Blackpool for the day, or finished off the brickwork on the extension, or played on his car!
Humph! [smilie=rk01_non6benvenuto.gif]
