  ting with a contract in September, don't fret... I've heard on the political grapevine that schools are being told off for using HLTAs/TAs for PPA/supply cover so there should be more work next year than this past year.
  
• Enjoy the break, and get lots of fresh air. If you're moving into a new classroom - don't spend more than 3 days sorting it out.
• We want to hear about your holiday if you're lucky enough to be going away, we're a nosey bunch!

in Reception and this seems to be the worst year group for the use of TAs in my area. "Oh, we need somebody to teach in Reception. Who shall I chose? A teacher who completed a 4 year BEd followed by many years of teaching experience or a mum who helped at school and ended up being offered a job?!!!?!!!

about school over the holidays. Except for the odd bit of computer stuff here and there. We have INSET on the Monday and Tuesday before term begins anyway, and my classroom looks pretty good because all the furniture is new and the space is well organised already.

Most of the holiday will be taken up with puppy stuff (can believe you left our new arrival off your list Nutty!)

We might be in the Lakes - if we are I'll let you know.

As for the advice I totally agree, it is the HOLIDAYS so make sure you all get some rest and 'me' time, din't spend it all worrying/thin
