Default Need some work for Summer!

I am having a bit of a panic attack now that the Summer Term is about to

t that I will have to sign on over the summer hols to get some money. I really don't want to have to do this and I would like to become a private tutor in my local area. How do I go about this?

Don't know about private tuition but what about trying to teach at a language school, the pay isn't bad and often you get to accompany the students to places of interest too!

ions there are, you could offer 'Science Days' to max. 4 kids, something like that?

Private (hidden from the Inland Revenue) tutors are treading on thin ice in case a kids hurts themselves whilst under your supervision/makes allegations etc.

I'd get in touch with your union in the first instance, and see what they say... you might be able to get seasonal work as a tutor with a local Kip McGrath establishment etc. either... then you're covered by their professional indemnity insurance.

I would probably go through an agency or I would definitely declare the money I've earned.

If you're self-employed then, I'd just make sure you looked into the legal side of it... you may be governed by child-minders laws and need prof. indemnity insurance and the like... definitely worth tal
