Hi I just wondered whether anyone had any advice on keeping this up to date? It is something that I was doing but have neglected it for some time and obviously if you want to apply for jobs at any point this is something that is quite necessary.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and oh

Yes I really must make the effort to do something like this, not really rocket science I suppose!

Thanks Nutty - I know that I should also make the effort to visit this site more often also - I can't believe your little boy is getting closer to his 2nd birthday, how quick has that gone?

that the weather will be kind to you all.

I am to be truthful having a job relaxing as I'm about to enter another change of year group (3rd one in three years): At this particular school I started in y4 then went into y3 and I am about to go back into y4

Sorry for moaning, I am grateful to have a job etc. but OMG to be able to follow the same plans, resources and not to have to cart ones things to the other side of the school to a new classroom would be pure heaven. I would even be able to relax over the summer holidays for a change

Ugh, I've been there!
The summer between the end of my PGCE and my first year as an NQT, they changed foundation subjects curriculum.
The next summer they changed the Lit & Num to the new strategies (now the old ones!) and although I stayed in Y5, I moved classrooms too.
Then I moved to a new school the next summer, so new classroom / school, and down into Y3, then I took my class into their new classroom and into Y4 the following summer, and the one after that I went up into Y6 = another classroom! I've never stayed in the same classroom more than 3 terms, and only the same year group once, and they changed from English and Maths to Literacy and Numeracy hours and my classroom that year! Is there any wonder I gave up to do supply?!
