Default Teaching french..

Help! I am going to teach French next week to y3/4, don't

I did French up to A level at school but that is a long time ago. Does anyone know of any good resources, worksheets that would be useful. I don't even know how much French these kids have learnt.

Have had a look around the usual, Primary Resources, BBC etc.

If you have an interactive whiteboard, these are great. I did them with year 3 last year and we watched the story and the children had to try and guess at some of the words. Amazing what comes back to you and how good they are at it. Goldilocks and the three bears is great, the year 3's loved it. We also learned the numbers and then played

Oh forgot to say they have little animations in the pictures, on the goldilocks one you need to press the goldilocks at the bottom.

Joan, the key thing with MFL is just repetition, we go over the same maybe 8 words for a whole half term but playing games with them all the time, snap,

ing them in, bingo, saying in different voices, everything.. and they love it, which other lesson do they get to

Sorry Joan, had a hectic day making bread with the kids and left as soon as I could to avoid all the parents at the book fair... will try and do this on Monday, it's on the server at school and there's not a link anywhere to it.
